MIDTERM #2I had to stay up most of last night studying for today’s midterm but I’m finally done now. I had no time for breakfast since I went directly to do my test but now that I got home, I prepared some healthy thin linguine with seared mushrooms, pesto sauce and a hint of Parmesan.

ALWAYS STEAMY…After my midterm today I took a LONG nap to re-energize and study for MIDTERM#2 tomorrow. I had some delicious pieces of DimSum for brunch (always order the steamed ones!) 3 pieces of Siu Mai, 3 pieces of Har Gow and 2 pieces of Steamed Pork Buns. I think this would put me somewhere on the 800 calorie range of food I’ve had today.

MIDTERM DAY #1

Today my weight is: 143.3 pounds Since I have a midterm today, I have not slept all night studying so I have no time to cook up some breakfast. - I am taking with me 2 small packs of raisins to eat on my way to take the test. Whenever I return home, all I’m gonna do is SLEEP!

The NYC Routine

So now that i decided to resume my blogging, i guess you should know that since my summer is over, i am no longer in PTY. I’m actually in NYC studying so my routine will be very different.
I have class tuesdays (almost all day), wednesdays and thursdays (until noon). I have to work on lots of homework on the other days of the week though. I think i’m going to start to go to the gym very very early, like 6am, so i can build an early routine that starts before class and therefore i wont be forced to go to the gym after class and be tired….the earlier i can get it out of the way, the better. I will post the amount of calories burned after each session and try my best to lead a 1000 calorie diet (I will also be posting whatever i eat!). I will be reporting my weight on tuesdays.
Gym sessions will consist of 45mins at the elliptical and 15mins at the sauna, hopefully at least 4 to 5 times a week. Partying and drinking has to be reduced to once a week only, therefore a maximum of 4-5 drinks.
Since I live in NYC, there’s always lots of visits and small traveling plans that include eating out. It will be a challenge for me to balance the calories, but i think i can manage.
This week i’m studying for MIDTERMS so my schedule is a bit hectic right now but i’ll do my best to clock in the gym sessions. Have a goodnight all- talk to you later!

HALLOWEEN PLANS?for saturday i chose to dress up as joan holloway from mad men….i think her curvy voluptuous figure is great inspiration! hopefully my i will look a little like her in the costume haha…bought a red wig and everything :)

there is  this awesome herve leger dress i saw online that i would love to wear for the holidays at  an affordable price (70% off!!) but i’m not sure if i should get it  yet. i mean, i want to wear it but only if i get to my target weight  because, lets face it, this dress will look SO much better on my only if  i’m skinnier. so, should i get it now even though i am not at the  weight i want to be? maybe it would make me want to reach my goal even  more because i have already purchased the dress! i don’t  know…suggestions?

when i created this blog i guess i was going through a kind of existential crisis…now that that’s finally over, i have to resume this goal. i really would like it if i could make it for the holidays…
anyways, from tomorrow on i will resume my daily exercise and diet routine. i need some discipline in my life and i think having a specific routine will help me organize my time at the gym, my time at home, and my time studying a lot better. we’re back on track baby…

Challenge time!

Need to wear a dress by next thursday for my friend’s bridal shower but in order to wear it I need to lose 6-8 pounds by then…..let’s see if I can make it or not!!!

Today I had a wheat pita bread with scrambled egg and light cheese for breakfast at 10am and a caesar wrap at 130pm. Since I have to go to a cousin’s graduation party, ill have a sugar free jello for dinner and have a couple drinks over there! I also had soccer practice from 5pm til 7pm so I did lots of cardio today! Ps- weight today: 145 pounds!!!
